How does it work?
- Pick a ready-made list or type your own choices, one per line: names, dishes, dares, anything you like.
- Press “Spin!”: the wheel slows down and stops on the winner.
- To go through everyone in turn, use “Remove and spin again”. Your list stays in your browser for next time.
Wheel ideas
- In class: pick who comes to the board, no favorites.
- At home: choose dinner when nobody can decide.
- With friends: dares, challenges, turn order, gift draws.
- For you: settle between two options… or find out which one you were hoping for.
Frequently asked questions
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. The winner is drawn by your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, with the same chance for every slice. The wheel then spins to it: the animation doesn’t change the result.
Are my choices sent anywhere?
No. Your list stays in your browser. When you share your wheel, it’s written into the link after the # sign, a part browsers never send to the server.
How many choices can I add?
From 2 to 100 choices, up to 60 characters each. Beyond twenty or so, the text on the wheel is shortened, but the winner is always shown in full.
Can I use it for a random draw or a raffle?
Yes: write the participants’ names, one per line, and spin the wheel. To pick several winners, “Remove and spin again” takes the last winner off the wheel and spins it right away, so nobody can win twice. For example, to set the order in which pupils present in class, paste the class list and keep pressing “Remove and spin again”: the latest spins, numbered in order, give you the running order, and they stay there even if you reload the page. “Start the draw over” then puts everyone back on the wheel.
How do I pick the winner of a social media giveaway?
Paste the participants’ names, one per line (up to 100), for example the accounts that commented on your post: an account listed twice gets two chances, your call. Spin the wheel in full screen and record your screen: the video shows the draw is fair. If there are several prizes, “Remove and spin again” stops the same account from winning twice.
