How does it work?
- Tap a quick time, or type your own (hours, minutes, seconds) and hit “Start”.
- While it counts down: pause, +1 min, or −1 min if you aimed too high.
- At the end, I ring until you stop me (one minute at most). “Restart” goes again with the same time.
A minute for everything
- Kitchen: 3 min for tea, 10 min for pasta, 30 min to let the dough rest.
- Workout: 1 min of plank, 3 min of rest between sets.
- Focus: 15 or 30 min of work without your phone, then a well-earned break.
- Family: 5 min to brush your teeth, 15 min of screen time, not a minute more.
FAQ
Does the timer keep going if I switch tabs or reload the page?
Yes: I remember the end time, not the passing seconds. The time left shows in the tab title, and the countdown picks up again after a reload.
What if my phone locks?
I keep the screen on while the page is open. Once the phone is locked, the browser puts me to sleep: the alarm will go off when you come back to the page.
No sound on iPhone?
Check the volume, then tap “Play the alarm” in the settings. On a recent iPhone, I ring even in silent mode, like an alarm clock.
No notification at the end?
You need two green lights: the box in the settings, and your system allowing your browser to notify (on a Mac: System Settings → Notifications). On iPhone, Safari doesn’t let websites send notifications: the alarm and the always-on screen take over.
